I used to have a hard time finding music that I like - until now. I heard from a friend about Pandora and fell in love immediately. It's an Internet radio site where you enter in an artist or song and using their Music Genome Project technology, the site spits out streams of songs-a-plenty all relating to your entry. It then becomes a playlist that will go into a history tied to your account if you register.
Another way to find artists similar to your favorites is at liveplasma where you can also enter in an artist of your choice and it displays a handful of other related artists in a map that shows how each band is connected to the others. Enter in your band de numero uno and see what comes up. I found a few that I forgot about when coming up with playlists for Pandora and plugged 'em in.
